I have come to the realization that I just really do not like Vista. This must be an indication of me getting old or something  because I have always been the early adopter of new technology no matter how much it hurts… When my system died last week, I decided to go back to Windows 2003 server and XP (VM), I can’t believe how much better I felt when I saw the old desktop, menus, etc regardless of how ugly they are. Even with UAC and DEP turned off, I still just don’t like the way I have to interact with Vista for what I need to do. Sure Vista looks pretty but I need to do more than just look at it. Hmm, I don’t mind Office 2007 at all – I would say I even like it so maybe it’s not an old age thing…

I’m sorry Microsoft but it just ain’t for me…
